Manager, eDiscovery Project Manager

Job Description

Job Summary:

As a Manager in the Forensic Technology Services team, the candidate will be responsible for driving the process of eDiscovery for our clients. 

Job Duties:

Responding directly to client requests and providing consultation within the framework of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) including working closely with digital forensics and managed review teams
Developing, actively communicating, and managing project plans for clients including consultation on processes and tools to meet project goals
Executing against agreed to e-discovery protocols and regulatory processing and production requirements  
Competency in end-to-end platform solutions, such as RelativityOne, including knowledge of processing workflows, early case assessment, review workflows, appropriate use and application of analytic tools and methodologies, machine translation workflows and complex production workflows
Proficiency and demonstrated experience in adopting, leveraging and applying advanced analytic applications such as H5 Matter Analytics, the Reveal Data suite (Reveal, NexLP and Brainspace) and the ever-evolving suite of technology
Be able to consult on technology assisted review applications and a basic understanding of algorithms and workflow with willingness to continue to develop this skillset
The ability to analyze and provide meaningful insights, interpretations and guidance by leveraging data intelligence and mining solutions (e.g. SmartSheet, Microsoft PowerBI, Microsoft Advanced E-Discovery, trend analyses) to educate and consult with clients
Ability to manage multiple workstreams across the assigned portfolio of clients; including both upstream escalation paths and downstream day-to-day management
Staying on top of trends, new tools, and overall knowledge of the e-discovery marketplace in the service of our clients
Strong ability to translate highly technical information to non-technical clients
Exceptional organizational skills
Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Education:

Bachelor's degree, required 
Juris Doctorate, preferred

Experience:

Five (5) or more years of e-discovery project experience, required
Experience in project management for e-discovery managed services, preferred
Experience with multi-matter repositories and migrating large quantities of data across workspaces and platforms, preferred 

License/Certifications:

Two (2) or more Relativity certifications are strongly preferred.  Example certifications include:

Relativity Certified Administrator, preferred
RelativityOne Reviewer Pro, Relativity Analytics Specialist, and/or Relativity Project Management Specialist are strongly encouraged

One (1) or more Reveal Data suite certifications strongly preferred. Example certifications include:

Brainspace Analyst, Specialist, and/or Admin Certification, preferred
NexLP is a plus

ACEDS' Certified E-Discovery Specialist Certification, eDiscovery Executive Certificate, and/or eDiscovery Technology Certificate is preferred 

Software:

Proficient in RelativityOne and Brainspace, required
Proficiency in H5, and a general understanding of machine language translation tools, preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Advanced E-Discovery, preferred
Proficiency in other eDiscovery platforms, preferred

Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Proven ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
Solid organizational skills especially the ability to meet project deadlines with a focus on details and quality
Ability to successfully multi-task while working independently or within a group environment
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and client personnel
Provide an encouraging team atmosphere on engagements and contribute to the professional development of the team
Foreign language skills, specifically in Mandarin, Cantonese, French, German, and/or Hindi is not required, but would be a strong benefit
