The Opportunity:
Under limited supervision, the Walmart Fiber Coordinator position is responsible for working as the liaison between Walmart Corporate, the Walmart Stores and our Mill Fiber Supply Managers/Sales Team to ensure Walmarts supply of recycled fiber is moved from the Walmart Store to the WestRock Mill of choice or to the open market as directed by the Sales Team This position is structured to focus primarily on a designated State or Territory to ensure adequate movement of the Walmart Bales to that customer of choice, while partnering with others to ensure alignment of resources in accordance with area strategy and priorities. This would include understanding any timelines to execute the transaction, communicating between the supplier and customer of the material, initiating the pickup with the third-party hauler or WestRock logistics team, data entry, and communication with generator and customer throughout the process to resolve questions or concerns. Provide input to the Area Fiber Supply Leader relative to customer service, reporting, and accounting. Additionally, the Walmart Fiber Coordinator would assist the Area Fiber Supply Leader with any change in movement of the material to exploit new opportunities to expand our network of supply including introduction, and trial load coordination.
Major Job Responsibilities:

Business Excellence
Work with various haulers to ensure the timely movement of material from Walmart stores.Coordinate movement with haulers, Walmart Corporate and individual stores and effectively communicate when any changes or issues arise which will prevent being able to meet the needs of all of the stakeholders in this endeavor. This coordinated effort will ensure the timely movement of the quality material from our supplier to the end user in a timely and accurate manner.
Manage movement of material through warehouse facilities prior to being delivered to our end user. This will require additional monitoring of movements in and out of the facility to ensure all pertinent information is accounted for in billing system, and facilitating the receipt of missing information or clarity of discrepancies from the hauler to drive accuracy in our inventory management system.
The use of external inventory warehouses brings the opportunity to drive timely and accurate movement in/out of the warehouses to the end user by having a collaborative working environment between the fiber coordinator, inventory warehouse and transportation planner to drive on time pickup and deliveries of material.
When the movement of material requires the exporting of material the fiber coordinator will manage booking, delivery of containers and the processing of all necessary paperwork needed to move the material offshore.
Adapt to changing market conditions which can result in changes to pickup and delivery schedules.
Manage quality and safety exceptions with sense of urgency upon notification to minimize cost.
Ensure accurate and timely payments to suppliers and invoices to customers, maintain documentation in CieTrade system.
Respond to inquiries timely, review discrepancies and research data, as necessary.
Maintain account profile data of supplier and customer contact information, scheduling requirements, commodities and any other pertinent account information in Book of Business notes and update as changes occur.
Responsible for meeting weekly metrics set by management to ensure all loads are being maintained and managed accordingly.

Develop and nurture positive and collaborative relationships with all internal and external capabilities such as Logistics, Accounting and Sales including teammates and coworkers to drive the results needed to maintain satisfaction at Walmart Corporate and the associates at individual Walmart stores to drive the results of Walmart Score Card.
Collaborate with various Mill Fiber Buyers to assure timely movement of shipments and proactively look for opportunities for alternate external movement with the Sales department when the opportunity calls for it.
Effectively and clearly communicate with all stakeholders to provide the highest level of customer service
Utilize problem solving skills to examine conflicts and discrepancies for the root cause analysis while working with other departments within Recycling to ensure the transactions in our system are correct for billing and reporting purposes while proactively eliminating future issues.
Work in conjunction with other departments and locations to resolve disputes in a timely manner
Assist with training of new hires
Participate in in-house continuing education to further knowledge and skills

Experience:
Prior customer service experience with a demonstrated ability for attention to detail and the decision making, ability to ensure the suppliers needs are met.
Customer/Supplier Data Management experience preferred
Education:
Required: High School diploma or G.E.D.
Preferred: BA/BS or equivalent experience in a high-volume customer service or support environment
