Summary:

We are seeking a talented Analyst for Enterprise Logistics with a drive to work in a complex global Logistics function located in Sandy Springs. This role is responsible for driving business intelligence covering all aspects of transportation in the supply chain system and play a key role in the enablement and success of WestRock logistics execution. Key responsibilities are to provide accurate, timely and meaningful key performance indicators to the Enterprise Logistics Operations Teams, condense complex information into actionable insight, partner with Logistics managers to identify cost savings opportunities, and implement automation solutions for existing reporting.

Responsibilities:

* Work as an integral part of the Logistics Analytics and Finance team
* Build relationships with all teams throughout Enterprise Logistics to facilitate frequent communication related to strategic and sourcing initiatives, logistics operations, data analysis and implementation
* Automation of existing reporting to QlikView or other BI tools
* Partner with team members at Home Office and field locations to gather data and support ideation of new reports and metrics
* Constant focus on leveraging data to identify project opportunities and develop methodology to track their cost savings initiatives
* Responsible for analysis tools leveraged by operations teams to improve performance (example being an Excel based solver tool that provides optimal solution for load selection by the dedicated fleet coordinator)
* Partner with Logistics teams to generate information needed to establish performance metrics for operations execution and performance reviews
* Support other ad hoc activities within the group

What you need to succeed:

* Bachelors Degree (Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineer, or Computer Science)

* 2 - 4 years related experience in Logistics or Supply Chain data analysis and support
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Advanced level proficiency in Microsoft Excel: ability to write and update complex formulas, build macros, and present numerical data in visual formats such as charts and pivot tables
* Intermediate level proficiency in Access: ability to write and update existing queries, develop/import data from external sources
* Functional knowledge of relational databases and SQL
* Enthusiasm for learning new platforms with abilities to self-teach and learn on the go
* Experience dealing with ambiguous situations and the ability to prioritize and produce consistent results
* Understands the importance of accuracy while meeting tight deadlines
* Willingness to ask questions and seek opportunities to grow professionally
* Leadership and communication skills with the ability to work with a diverse team and move projects forward independently
* Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) experience preferred
* Solid understanding of Transportation and Supply Chain management
