with crew and determines size and quantity of sheets required, colors to be.

With assistance from 2nd Press
Person Insures ink supplied matches ink specs on job ticket.

Adjusts printing units for proper
color control and register.

Mounts plates in press, either
alone or with 2nd Press Operator.

Makes all necessary ink and water
adjustments to the press.

Understands the controls of the
console and auxiliary controls for the operating systems.

Can direct and perform maintenance
on the equipment.

Continually checks quality and
registration of work, as directed, to insure that customer specs are met.

Completes necessary production and
quality reports, with 2nd Press Operator, as required.

Can direct a crew for optimum
production and quality and safety.
Perform other duties as assigned by manager, supervisor
and/or lead person.
