In this pivotal role, you will be a major contributor in Risk and Compliance team designing solutions in Financial Domain.  You will be playing a key role in building new capabilities and enhancing existing ones. You will learn how to manage large and complex systems with stringent response time SLA while processing large volumes of data.

Role Responsibilities

Work with engineering and business partners to define and build out complex solutions driving value through business process simplification, automation and new product capabilities and innovations.
Demonstrate strong capabilities in assessing business needs while providing creative and effective solutions in conformance to emerging technology standards.
Lead product solutioning end to end for new innovations with iterative improvements.
Collaborate with peer and cross functional teams across the globe.
Strong emphasis on customer journey, product quality, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and continuous development.
Experience in estimating engineering effort, implementation plan, deployment plans, and deployment strategy to productionize applications with cross-functional and cross-regional impacts.
Identify and evaluate Compliance especially AML, KYC, PEP, and Sanctions business needs and solutions for new strategic initiatives, existing products, and channels.
Apply data science principles and/or business process re-engineering principles to help identify innovative solutions in the key Financial Crimes/Fraud areas and other compliance and Risk areas.

Role Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related fields with 5+ years of professional experience or MS with 3+ years of experience
Proven ability to understand business needs and ability to contribute to technology direction that drives measurable business improvements.
Demonstrated capabilities in assessing business needs while providing creative and effective solutions in conformance to emerging technology standards.
Experience with architecture design concepts and techniques and the ability to communicate and evangelize those concepts to internal stakeholders and external partners.
Must have extensive hands-on experience in technologies: Java, J2EE/JEE/Springboot and SQL Databases
Must be proficient with designing data models
Excellent knowledge of algorithms and design patterns
Nice to have experience with NoSQL DB, Drools Rules Engine, Fico rules engine, PostgreSQL, Amazon web services (including ECS, EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch), Mulesoft Any point Platform, REST APIs Designing, Telalend ETL, JMeter, Git, Swagger Hub, Snowflake, ELK, Postman, Kibana dashboard, IBM Global Name Recognition (GNR).
Hands-on experience to create flow diagrams, sequence diagram and process flows
Experience with application and SQL performance tuning
Being comfortable in Unix/Linux environment
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Salary

The annual gross base salary range is $120,000.00 – 140,000.00.   Total on target compensation includes a base salary and short-term bonus (15% of base), incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates’ qualifications, skills, and competencies.
