Job Summary:
This individual is a hands-on manager ensuring the satisfaction and retention of employees to creating efficient and profitable utilization while delivering a high level of customer service. As a Manager of Fleet Managers, this position provides daily direction and support to ensure results are consistent with our goals.
Responsibilities include:
-Direct leadership and management of staff (Operation) team members.
-Provide daily direction and coaching to Fleet Managers to improve Driver Retention
-Develop relationships with employees to improve performance and encourage retention
– Act as the advocate for internal departments to answer questions, resolve concerns, and resolve issues
-Monitoring key performance indicators; on-time delivery, costs, utilization, and on-time service; analyzing results, ensuring attainment of objectives, and taking corrective action as necessary
-Evaluates staff performance based on company goals and KPI train coach and lead KPIs to maximum performance.
-Be a difference maker to the organization, with no limits to creative problems solving and areas of improvement that make impacts on the company’s goals.
-Strategic alignment, critical to apply strategy within dedicated operations, cartage, and open board maximizing equipment assets to produce and industry’s best operational revenue.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate has 3+ related experience in Transportation Operations.
Four Year college degree is preferred
