About You and this Role:

In this role, you will serve as the Maintenance Productivity Leader supporting Dow's High Pressure Copolymers and Compounding Specialty Division (HPC/CSD) in the East Texas Hub. This position will be located in Orange, TX at the Sabine River site.

You will have accountability to drive maintenance productivity in all aspects by owning the maintenance process/discipline and serving as a people leader. In addition, you will have responsibility for safety, reliability and cost management, and ensure effective work process utilization. You will lead enhancement of operating disciplines and those skills necessary to support the work process as defined in order to track and analyze work process results.

As a people leader, you will be charged with leading both large teams or multiple related teams. You will provide leadership to people leaders and professional individual contributors and develop plans of execution to ensure alignment with operational long-term strategy. You will be expected to foster a work environment with a high level of integrity and strong safety focus that embraces diversity and inclusion, innovation and sustainability, continuous improvement and empowerment.

Responsibilities / Duties:

Serves as the people leader for maintenance team and assures proper staffing levels.
Owns performance management process for the team.
Oversees functional/administrative goals and for establishing the budget that is consistent with the business needs.
Drives maintenance productivity initiatives to achieve maintenance excellence relating quality, cost, time.
Engages with Maintenance Expertise Center and global/regional experts to ensure best practices are implemented and developed for global use.
Ensures global best practices are fully implemented and utilized.

Required Qualifications:

A minimum of a bachelor’s degree or relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E6 or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant ranking
A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience (i.e. maintenance, engineering, manufacturing or related)
Previous people leadership experience
A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States.  No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.
