About the role:
The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor will report to the Manager of Facilities Maintenance.The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for oversee daily IFM (Integrated Facilities Maintenance) program and Garment Services activities at the Los Angeles Site, including Los Angeles (LA) and Van Nuys (VN) location to assure compliance with the current manufacturing practices (cGMPs), environmental health and safety (EHS) guidelines and any other regulations that may apply.He/she is expected to drive results to support plant strategic imperatives, enforce company rules and regulations to promote Takeda Values.Will provide partnership with IFM Program and Garment Service representatives and serve as liaison with area stakeholders to drive performance.He/she will demonstrate Takeda Leadership Behaviors and work under limited supervision.
How you will contribute:
Support Coordination of IFM Program activities including planned and emergency situations.
Generate new and review existing IFM Program SOP’s and drawings.
Perform IFM Program Incident Investigations, CAPAs and Change Control in Trackwise or equivalent software as applicable.
Analyze, propose and lead longer-term solutions to existing and repeating problems associated to IFM Program maintenance services.
Ensure IFM Program activities are performed in compliance with GMP requirements and following applicable SOP’s
Ensure IFM Program maintenance activities have the minimum attainable impact to manufacturing schedule.
Provide support during internal and external audits for facilities maintenance topics
Support compliance with approved IFM Program and Facilities Services budget
Support training IFM Program employees in assigned roles, as required.
Assure IFM Program corrective work orders and PM’s are performed in an efficient manner and reported as required in the site Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) JDE.
Routine visual inspection of facilities condition of GMP Manufacturing areas and Non GMP Areas.
Review and approval of permit to work documents for IFM program maintenance activities and IFM Program systems
Support Review and approval of Engineering Construction Control Plans as SME for Facilities Services.
Monitor, evaluate, define and implement improvement and cost reduction opportunities.
Full understanding of the IFM Program and Garment contracts
Must be proficient in written and oral English.
Must have demonstrated interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to interface well with personnel of all levels.

Proficient with JDE.
Must have knowledge on evaluating, interpreting and reviewing engineering drawings
Must have experience with Microsoft Office applications; Word, Excel and Power Point.
Must have knowledge on Investigations and CAPA process.
Must have knowledge in change control process
Possess strong organizational and administrative skills.
What you bring to Takeda:
High School Diploma or GED plus 6+ years of related experience OR Bachelors' degree in science, engineering or other related technical field and 3+ years of related experience. Some leadership experience preferred for Supervisor role.
Maintenance experience in Pharmaceutical or GMP Manufacturing environment or equivalent preferred.
Preferred experience in GMP Environment facilities works including flooring, walls, garment, and material transfer interlocks, fire suppression and alarm systems, access control and speed doors.
In general, the position requires a combination of sedentary work and walking around observing conditions in the facility.
Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 25 lbs.

Must be able to work in controlled environments requiring special gowning. Will be required to follow gowning requirements and wear protective clothing over the head, face, hands, feet and body
No make-up, jewelry, contact lenses, nail polish or artificial fingernails may be worn in the manufacturing environment.
Will work in a cold and/or wet environment.
Must be able to work multiple shifts, including weekends.
Non-Exempt Roles only: Must be able to work overtime as required.
May be required to work in a confined area.
Some Clean Room and cool/hot storage conditions.
Will be working in a loud area that requires hearing protection and other protective equipment to be worn.
Will work around chemicals such as alcohol, acids, buffers and filter aid that may require respiratory protection. Facial hair must be removed if required to wear respirator.
Must be required to work in a Clean Room environment and under cool/hot storage conditions.
If this position is assigned to any the weekend shift, it will be required to work on the company holidays.
Must be required to be assigned to LA and VN Sites
Must be able to respond to emergency calls during Non-regular working hours
