Business Overview:

Loan Solutions / Debt Solutions is a core business within BNP Paribas Securities Services, providing debt solution services for issuers and agency services for Asset Owners and Asset Managers investing in private credit vehicles.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Service a portfolio of clients, which will include loan funds, money market programs and other areas of loans and debt servicing
Provide Loan Administration services to multiples clients and funds structures Control, maintain and report Loan funds data and ensure swift and accurate delivery to client’s requests
Liaise with clients, agents, front office desks, accounting teams to ensure consistently correct positions and accurate representation in all reports and systems
Produce and send agreed reports to the Client and Fund Administrator, working with strict daily timelines
Deliver Collateral Administration services and monitor borrowing base and waterfall calculations in order to meet deadlines. 
Maintain operational standards and ensure compliance with industry timeframes for the life cycle of securities (maturity, interest, redemption etc.) and all associated cash flows with clients, broker/dealers and DTCC
Process daily issuances, redemptions, interest payments and any incidental events related to Money Market Instruments, Standalone and private placement issues using a dedicated system
Ensure delivery of consistently high quality of service to ever more demanding clients
Coordinate with other groups within the organization (business groups, IT and Operations) in New York, Montreal, Lisbon, London and Paris
Troubleshoot Client enquiries
Review process efficiencies and adapt to changing environment while offering ideas for improvements based on previous experience or understanding of market
Ensure quality, timely and accurate service, in compliance with established internal guidelines and external regulations
Accurate and timely update of relevant information on all record keeping systems.
Assist in the preparation of Regulatory reporting
Initiate and participate to process enhancement and efficiency projects

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent
Minimum 2 years financial industry experience
Innovative and creative thinker combined with strong ethics, integrity and drive
Proven ability to act under pressure and tight deadline

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong knowledge of Money Market Instruments and Private Debt / Alternative assets
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Effective teamwork and collaborative skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficient computer skills, particularly in the use of Microsoft Office Excel, Sentry, DTC PBS, MMM
