Job Function and Key Responsibilities:
Manage territory with external partner to meet or exceed goals
Partner with field wholesaler to develop and maintain business relationships with financial advisor professionals in the territory
Conduct consultative, relationship-building sales calls via the telephone with financial advisors and other licensed professionals
Maintain a deep understanding of all New York Life’s annuity products and competitive landscape
Act as the main point of contact on a daily basis for financial advisor clients in the territory
Consistently follow-up with all leads, prospects and producers to advance the sales process and deepen advisor relationships
Create and explain hypothetical illustrations and competitive information
Provide advisors with updates on annuity products, upcoming conference calls and conferences
Required Qualifications:
Understanding of annuities, the financial/capital markets and the competitive landscape
Wholesaling experience preferred
Build and expand relationships with predetermined opportunist list financial advisors
Fluid relationship and communication with external partner for strategic planning
Excellent presentation and organizational skills
State Insurance License(s) for resident state within 60 days of hire
FINRA Series 6 or 7 and 63 licenses required. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Bachelor’s degree is required – specifically Finance/Business major preferred
