About the role - you will:

Work closely with your colleagues in the Information Security organization and stakeholders across the LYVE Cloud function to ensure appropriate controls are in place and that security policies are effectively implemented. You will participate in all aspects of Information Security to identify, protect, and respond to Cyber threats with the objective of avoiding business disruption, breach of customer information and reputational damage to Seagate.

Key areas of responsibility:

Prevent and mitigate cyber security issues.
Handling of security incidents through containment, eradication, and remediation.
Analyzing malware to determine impact using multiple third-party toolsets.
Maintaining compliance with an evolving set of regulatory security frameworks (currently SOC 2 and ISO 27001)

Your experience includes:

Active certifications such as CGIH, CGFE, CGFA, CCNP, CCIE or CISSP preferred.
Experience with Cloud Operations Security. Understanding of emerging threats in cloud domains including AWS, Azure and GCP.
Clear understanding of security processes and technologies including: Threat Analysis, Threat Intelligence, Threat Hunting, Vulnerability Assessment, Security Monitoring and Compliance.
Must be well-versed in digital forensics, malware analysis, operating systems, active directory, encryption schemas & algorithms, IAM, authorization and authentication mechanisms, PKI and TCP/IP networking.
Strong knowledge of Cyberattack Kill Chain, Cybersecurity Defense, Attack Monitoring including documentation and ticketing fundamentals and security technology architectures.
Experience with automation and scripting with REST API.
Excellent communication and presentation capabilities combined with ability to clearly articulate complex information security proposals and to influence stakeholders at all levels up to and including executive management.
Bachelor's Degree in (Computer Science or related discipline) and 10+ years experience, or Master’s Degree in (Computer Science or related discipline) and 8+ years experience, or PHD and 6+ years of experience or equivalent education and experience.
