Job Description

You will have the opportunity to:

Manage tools for monitoring, alerting, configuration management, automation and other relevant software applications
Develop scripts and applications in support of existing infrastructure automation initiatives in an Agile environment
Document process automation and update security standards for said process
Work in close coordination with architects, Engineering teams, analysts and stakeholders in a dynamic environment to translate requirements into end to end solutions
Platform and systems security awareness (authorization, authentication, security best practices, etc.)

What we look for in you:

2+ years’ experience in a DevOps Engineering role, following security best practices
Bachelor Degree or close to graduating in Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computing Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Information Analysis or similar
Advanced verbal and written communication English skills
Continuous learning mindset
Prior experience with any cloud vendor (e.g. Azure, AWS or GCP)
Proficiency in code versioning tools (e.g. Git), experience with build management and CI/CD (e.g. Jenkins, TFS / Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines, GitLab, GitHub Actions)
Scripting skills oriented to automation and orchestration (e.g. PowerShell, Python, Ansible, Puppet)
Experience with containerization in OpenShift, Kubernetes and Docker
Strong unit test and debugging skills / troubleshooting

It is a plus if you have:

Working experience in an Agile organization
Good working knowledge of relational databases and SQL (e.g. Postgres, MSSQL Server)
Proficiency with programming languages
Prior experience working with Linux/Windows (e.g. installation, configuration and administration)
Demonstrable technical skills on backend services (e.g. Celery, Redis, RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch, Splunk), including setup, administration, scaling and monitoring
Background in developing enterprise grade applications using Modern Authentication protocols (e.g. SSO, SAML, OIDC)
Networking core concepts (e.g. proxy, VPC, Firewall, F5, Azure Networking, ExpressRoute)
Verifiable hands-on experience working with Terraform, ARM/CloudFormation templates or similar technologies
General knowledge about REST API's best practices
