We’re actively seeking a talented Digital Media Strategist  to join our Institutional Division's marketing team in Newport Beach, CA. This role can be on-site or 100% remote.

As a Digital Media Strategist, you’ll play a key role in Pacific Life’s growth and long-term success by assisting in the creation of a focused digital media strategy for Pacific Life’s Institutional Division . You will fill a new role that sits on a team of 5 people in the Institutional Division.

The job responsibilities:

Assist in the creation of a focused digital media strategy for Pacific Life’s Institutional Division

Prescribe effective digital distribution methods for marketing pieces in the content library

Monitor and measure data analytics and prescribe content course corrections based on reporting data

Collaborate with marketing analytics and other internal partners to evaluate campaign results and recommend further actions for content

Consult and advise internal clients concerning digital platform requirements, including In.PacificLife.com and social media applications

Build effective ad managed campaigns via social platforms and ad partners while monitoring and evaluating data analytics

Assist in the curation of marketing content on In.PacificLife.com

Advise in the development and implementation of audience journeys

Work closely with and alongside designers, art directors, and content marketers

Present creative digital concepts to co-workers and leaders

Adapt to a constantly changing environment


How you will make an impact:

Work with the team to assist in the development of digital content strategies (70%)

Create original concepts for marketing campaigns, working individually and as a part of a creative team (15%)

Consult and advise internal clients concerning project requirements (15%)


The experience you will bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Social Media Marketing, Digital Communications, Consumer Behavior, or equivalent experience

5+ years’ experience immersed in developing and implementing digital strategies with proven results (please provide examples)

Salesforce experience preferred, Marketing Cloud experience a plus

Experience with ad managed campaigns, Google Ad Words, and SEO optimization

The ability to see through the lens of a device-driven audience   

The ability to self-start and embrace innovation

Advanced experience with B2C communication over social platforms

Familiarity with writing keyword-rich content for SEO

Knowledge of managing advertising campaigns through key online platforms such as Facebook and LinkedIn

Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills

Financial fluency and interest in social impact investing is a plus

Formal education in the field of data analytics is a plus
