The summer internship will last approximately three months. You will work 40+ hours per week with a variable work schedule. You will be introduced to a progressive and dynamic turkey breeder or grow out operation which will provide you live production experience that will be beneficial in the future.
Job Responsibilities
1. Daily management of a flock and analyze capital and labor expenses to ensure flock costs are met.
2. Design, execution, and analysis of your own project, depending on your interests and our needs. This opportunity gives you the exposure to research trials and design.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Must be a August 2021, December 2021 or May 2022 grad pursuing a BS in Science, Business or Agricultural related major
2. Demonstrated analytical, problemsolving, leadership, and interpersonal skills
3. Possess a strong work ethic and an entrepreneurial spirit
4. Able to meet Biosecurity program and comfortable working in a barn setting
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Minimum 2.7 cumulative GPA
