JOB DESCRIPTION

As an AWS Solutions Architect, you will architect, build out, and automate with the team the deployment of cloud solutions to support enterprise clients.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

This will require all dimensions of cloud architecture and workflow automation, including:

Architect application designs using AWS Services or other leading cloud providers

Build, migrate and test solutions within Cloud environments

Partake in designing and maintaining end to end applications and data security policies

Integrate with on-premise applications, cloud providers or other platforms

Implement cost-optimized solutions (based on usage, business requirements and budget)

Design and implement end-to-end automation of solution onboarding including provisioning and configuration of the Fox AWS architecture

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

5+ years enterprise IT experience that includes at least 2 years of hands-on software development, Operations, DevOps engineering, or systems architecture

3+ years of Cloud computing experience using publicly available services

Highly proficient using the AWS CLI

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEAL BREAKER

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineer, Math or related field or equivalent experience

Experience working for or working with educational institutions

Prior experience in a technical role within a sales organization

Strong Terraform or CloudFormation experience

Demonstrated experience leading or developing high quality, enterprise-scale software products using a structured system development lifecycle

Intermediate/advanced knowledge of the AWS services, market segments, customer base and industry verticals

Understanding of application, server, and network security
