Role Description:
The Licensing & Provisioning team is responsible for the core platform that powers user licenses, access, service provisioning, configuration management, SKUs, and billing for Marketing Cloud’s largest business unit. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager who will obsess about customer success, drive innovation, and collaborate across the organization to deliver customer & business value.

The Product Manager is focused on the long and short-term vision of the product, harmonizing customer needs, platform needs, and innovation. You will drive the charter and features on how Messaging and Journeys evolve its licensing and provisioning platforms, across all product lines. You will have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of teams across Salesforce to drive revenue and build on a revenue run rate of billions. This role will require bringing together your business acumen and your technical expertise to help extend the Salesforce Marketing Cloud position as the leading Customer Engagement and Marketing Automation Platform in the world.

Your Impact:
As a product manager on the team, you will:

Own the delivery of the Licensing and Provisioning product roadmap incorporating projects, features, and other key initiatives that synthesize the needs of customers and the business over the long and short term.

Expand and execute on a vision that will enable the business to scale, meet growing demand, operate efficiently, and make our customers successful on the platform.

Work with clients & stakeholders at all levels to assess, initiate, prioritize, refine, and drive appropriate technology solutions.

Collaborate with engineering, user experience, documentation, revenue teams, BT, and customer success teams to drive the product lifecycle from concept to customer success.

Use research and informed customer feedback to determine the customer behavior and outcomes

Use quantitative data to inform decisions - You can measure the impact of changes using available metrics

Create product specifications and acceptance criteria that represent the outcome expected by stakeholders

Drive the feature assessment, requirements gathering, and documentation. Rapidly assess new ideas and identify features and enhancement of value to customers. Turn insights into features.

Communicate delivery scope, status, and questions back to business. Communicate effectively and appropriately with business and technical peers (written and verbal).

Anticipate blockers, conflicts, and obstacles, and escalate appropriately to solve them.

Participate in cross-functional initiatives as a delivery component, representing their team's work with a small number of dependencies.

Act as the subject-matter expert for solutions owned by your team.

Work with go-to-market teams, product marketing, sales, services, and enablement teams to build a program that establishes thought leadership in the market.

Know what it takes to give Platform and Product the competitive advantage. Operate both strategically and tactically in a dynamic environment. Develop relevant, sustainable solutions. Align the right resources to the task at hand; foresee and plan around obstacles.


Required Skills/Experience:

5+ years of experience as a Product Manager or equivalent

Demonstrated experience shipping B2B software products, ideally in building a large-scale enterprise cloud service.

Experience working with globally distributed cross-functional teams

Go-getter - you can drive results for impact, manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders, and see it through the finish line

Communicative - you can communicate (written or spoken) effectively with other product managers, engineers, architects, stakeholders, software vendors, and finance

Collaborative - you have experience working with distributed cross-functional teams

Technically savvy - you are as comfortable deep-diving with engineering as you are with writing product requirements

Analytical - you can frame the right questions, evaluate multiple facets of a problem, dive into data, derive solutions, and simulate possible outcomes

Agile - you have experience working with engineers to deliver software using Agile methodologies

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
