What youll do

The Digital Solution Delivery organization at TJX focuses on the customer-driven experiences across the globe, including all of our eCommerce domains, mobile apps, loyalty programs, in-store digital experiences, and more. We are builders and innovators extending TJX's world-class treasure hunt experience to new audiences and fans.

As a SQL Software Engineer you will be a hands-on developer, primarily responsible for writing SQL code and reports. In this role you have an opportunity to work with cross-functional teams ranging from Merchandising Planning to Financial Planning, Accounting, Loss Prevention, Shipping and Logistics.

What youll need

We are looking for a smart, passionate, hard-working, and driven Engineer II who demonstrates an "engineering mindset." You will be using agile methodologies, software development & data best practices and latest database tools/technologies.

You must be flexible and able to succeed within a collaborative environment. This includes preparing documentation, writing solid SQL code, troubleshooting and performance optimization of SQL code.

Minimum Qualifications

* 1-3 years experience in database development.
* Experience using Microsoft SQL Server technologies - SQL Server database engine, Integration Services (SSIS), Analysis Services (SSAS) and Reporting Services (SSRS).
* Proficient in writing SQL code & stored procedures, performance tuning and optimization.
* ASP.NET, C or any other programming language experience would be helpful.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience writing and debugging SQL code
* Experience developing BI solutions using SQL Server technology stack.
* Experience writing reports and dashboards using SQL Reporting Services, Excel and SharePoint.
* Understating of database design and ETL process flows.
