Job Description:
We are looking for a software engineer to join our mainframe team in a Sustaining Engineering role. This person will work with Level 1 Engineers on new and legacy components, reproduce and debug issues, write and unit test fixes, and communicate with customers directly.
Applicants should have experience in the following:
- C Programming Language
- Strong debugging skills
- Networking in an enterprise environment
- Unit Testing
- Attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- z/OS / Mainframe experience a plus
- Assembler a plus
- CICS a plus
- Knowledge: A seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of area of specialization; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways. This job is the fully qualified, career-oriented, journey-level position.
Experience and fully qualified in own function plus working knowledge of others
Applies in-depth job knowledge to a wide range of multiple or complex tasks
Knowledge of company policies and practices
- Job Complexity / Contribution : Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. - Supervision : Work is independent and collaborative in nature. Provides regular updates to manager on project/account status.

- Experience : Bachelor's and 2+ years of related experience required
