We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a DevOps Engineer you will work in a multi-cloud environment. You will use open source DevOps tools (build and deploy automation, monitoring and data gathering for our software delivery pipeline). You will also be contributing to our continuous improvement and continuous delivery while increasing maturity of DevOps and our agile adoption practices.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
* Experience in agile software development methodologies.
* Experience developing micro-services based platforms based on RESTful APIs.
* Experience in DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Gradle, Git, and Docker.
* Experience in one or more of the following: Python / Shell Scripting / Perl / Java.
* Experience developing in a service-oriented Cloud environment, such as Amazon AWS, IBM Cloud, Google Cloud Platform, or others.
* Ability to work with other geographically dispersed teams.
* Ability to take part in an on-call rotation.
* Experience working on extremely highly scalable platforms is a plus.
* Experience using & building containers and containerized applications.
* Experience of working with, developing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
* Experience in one or more of the following technologies is a plus: Unix/Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, infrastructure (Infrastructure as code) and general networking principles.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
* 5+ years experience in software development and delivery.
* Good understanding of OpenShift or similar technologies.
* Demonstrable experience with application software and solution scalability, security, monitoring and performance.
* Agile experience working with Scrum or Kanban in co-located teams as part of a global team.
