Job Description
The Intel Software Technical Consulting Engineer (TCE) team seeks an intern to work on a HPC workload performance optimization with oneMKL. Your work will be focused on optimization for some workloads utilizing CPU/GPU capabilities using the Intel Performance Libraries (oneMKL) and analysis tools. You will identify gaps in workload performance and develop recommendations for improving performance.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Minimum Requirements
Candidate must be pursuing a Master degree or PhD in Computer Engineering Computer Science, Mathematics, or other science engineering related field
6+ months experience in:
* High Performance Computing environment
* Linux or Windows
* C/C++/Fortran programming experience
* Performance analysis techniques using modern tools
Availability for a 6 months internship
Preferred Qualifications
6+ months experience in:
* Processor Architecture
* Parallel Programming
