Job Description:
We are looking for a strong Software Engineer to join our team working on an Enterprise Malware Analysis application and help move it to the Cloud.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and maintaining an Enterprise Malware Detection and Analysis Platform as well as a worldwide service. Experience in Cloud microservices and container applications will be important as we redesign an Enterprise application for a Cloud infrastructure. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, have drive and initiative, and work well in a team environment is essential for this role.
Required Skills :
* Application development in python, preferably both python2 and python3
* Knowledge of Linux platforms
* Programming skills in any of the following: C/C++, golang, javascript, rust, shell scripting
* Experience in at least 2 of the following areas:
* Virtualization platforms (especially QEMU/KVM) and virtual networking concepts
* Knowledge of SQL and database platforms
* Building and consuming RESTful APIs and gRPC/protobuf interfaces
* ELK stack: Deploying, configuring, and maintaining Elasticsearch clusters; and creating Kibana visualizations
* DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins
* GCP and/or AWS cloud platforms
* Windows driver development and/or knowledge of Windows internals
Qualifications:
* 5 years of software development experience
* BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent
* Strong Python and C/C++ skills required
* In-depth understanding of object oriented programming and concepts
* Understanding of development on Linux is required
* Experience with Docker/containerization is a plus
* Google Cloud experience a plus
* Ability to work well in a dynamic, fast paced environment
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
