Gaming Hub & Software NPI Lead
The HP Personal Systems Peripherals Organization aspires to create technology that makes life better for everyone, everywhere. We are looking for a dynamic, creative, and experienced New Product Introduction professional to join our team. The Gaming Hub (OMEN Gaming Hub) & Software NPI lead will deliver New Product Introduction sales enablement assets and launches for our growing peripheral software portfolio.
The qualified candidate would be part of our fast-moving and fast-growing Peripherals New Product Introduction (NPI) team. This team crafts and develops our product sell-in narrative for the sales force, channel enablement assets and presentations, training sessions and deliverables, launch planning, executive presentations, NPI communications, and event support.
This position will be based in Houston, Texas.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop core sell in assets to ignite sales and our channel partners for Gaming Hub and software launches, features, benefits, value propositions, target audience, and competitive landscapeall while considering market and channel factors.
* Work closely with HP Peripherals Gaming Hub product management planners on new product introduction sales and training deliverables, for our sales force which includes our channel partners.
* Work with cross-functional teams (including Worldwide Marketing, PR, design, external agencies, product and engineering stakeholders) to deliver world-class sales enablement assets for OMEN Gaming Hub and Software initiatives.
* Create and execute sales and channel enablement deliverables for software launches, including refreshes.
* Collaborate with internal and external creative teams to bring go-to-market, sales enablement, and channel assets to life visually.
* Be the OMEN Gaming Hub spokesperson for virtual press briefings, press review workshops, and to assist GBU leadership with training internal and channel stakeholders as necessary.
* Metrics for success include all deliverables on time for future launches, strategic launch planning, developing strong product and software initiatives to help the sales and channel partners ignite sales, coordination/collaboration with improving market engagement.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
* Experience in gaming industry and passionate about gaming.
* Experience in gaming software.
* Proven experience in successfully managing multiple priorities and deliverables.
* Experience working with sales enablement content, trainings deliverables.
* Comfortable presenting in front of all level of executive management.
* Experience speaking to the press for virtual press briefings.
* Able to host and present on product marketing/technical sales initiatives
* College degree in Marketing/Business/Technical. Advanced degree preferred.
* 10+ years in product marketing fundamentals ideally within gaming field.
* Demonstrated Marketing Communications skills.
* A strong combination of sales enablement, training, Go-To-Market, Launch, Marketing, AR/PR, Product Marketing, Marketing, Product Management experience is a plus.
* Demonstrated cross-organizational agility and teamwork, especially working with product managers, R&D, designers, external agencies, and platform teams.
* Ability to direct and manage external agencies and vendors in the asset development process.
* Ability to effectively persuade across organization boundaries, both horizontally and vertically.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and expertise in communicating across functions.
* Strong team-player, self-starter, motivated, proactive, curious.
