Job Description:

Join the David Spachek American Family Insurance Agency team in Derby, KS!

Sales representative candidates must have the ability to develop knowledge of the local market, prospect for new business and use consultative selling techniques.

Position Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent
* One year of experience in a sales environment, preferably including marketing, prospecting, cold calling, networking, preparing quotes and delivering presentations
* Property and Casualty insurance license is preferred before starting and is required after beginning employment

Agency Size: 3 people total (1 agent and 2 staff.)

Compensation: $15/hour

Total 1st Year Compensation with commission and/or bonus: $36,000

Typical Work hours: 8 am to 5 pm - Monday-Friday 40 hours/week

Benefits: PTO - 10 days available 1st year plus Paid Holidays

Agent will pay upfront for licensing costs (study materials & exams)

Licensing: Agent will pay for cost of licensure and study time.
