We are seeking talented Information Technology professionals to join the Waste Management team who are motivated to help us transform the way we design, build and use technology. With your skills and experience, we look for you to combine your technical expertise with industry best practices in an effort to align information technology solutions with Waste Management business strategy.



I. Job Summary

Designs, develops and communicates specific strategic technical plans and intricate designs for information technology needs through new and existing applications, systems architecture, and applications infrastructure. Assumes responsibility for combining advanced technical expertise with best practices, and standard solutions in an effort to align information technology solutions with business strategy. Presents and communicates to all levels of the organization (technical and non-technical), oversees development and ensures the overall solution is appropriate.



II. Duties and Responsibilities include the following. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. Other ancillary duties may be assigned.



* Support over all Enterprise Integration needs using MuleSoft, WebMethods and AWS

* Design, integrate, and implement next-generation solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint platform, WebMethods Integration Server and AWS Services

* API development (REST, JSON, Microservice architecture)

* Expert knowledge of Enterprise Application Integration, Micro Services architecture, API Architecture including familiarity with Integration Patterns (Messaging, Routing, Data Transformation etc...)

* Conduct design architect reviews, gap analysis and assessment when required

* Often develop the most complicated flows

* Conduct POCs and develop frameworks for the team to follow

* Serves as a knowledge resource to the business and technology areas

* Has in-depth knowledge of all technical solutions and the Business problems.

* Ability to leverage Enterprise Integration Platforms and create strategies for governance.

* Perform software installation, configuration, and upgrades to middleware systems.

* Troubleshoot and remediate middleware defects regardless of components

* Set standards around patterns, frameworks, and technologies to promote a simple and consistent approach

* Be a team player and a thought partner to steer the collective technology team to success

* Design various integration solutions and prepare required artifacts for same and execute various integration projects in parallel.

* Analyze metrics and measure effectiveness of programs and return of investment goals.

* Has ability to work with Project Managers, giving them correct leadership information, and successfully collaborate to deliver finished products



III. Supervisory Responsibilities

May coach and mentor less-experienced analysts and act as team leader on systems projects.



IV. Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.



A. Education and Experience



Education: Required Bachelors Degree (accredited) Computer Science, MIS, or similar area of study.



Experience: Required six years of previous Software Development experience required including 4+ years experience in MuleSoft, as well as 3+ years experience in webMethods and AWS, as well as 3+ years leading mid-to-large Integration implementations.



B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements



None required.



C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required



Advanced knowledge or skills in one or more of the following required:



* Strong understanding of MuleSoft, WebMethods and AWS technologies

* Experience with API first development

* Application and API security and best practices

* Sync and Async messaging patterns

* Creating and managing API Gateways

* Creating and leading a Center Of Excellence for Integration.
