WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for an Equity Payroll Analyst to be responsible for daily processing and auditing of equity transactions; over 10K transactions a year grossing over a 1 billion dollars total gross! We believe that a foundation in payroll concepts, equity, tax, accounting, HR systems, excel, data analysis, and metrics gathering are key to successful execution of this role.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
As a Payroll Equity Analyst, you will participate in the successful delivery of day-to-day payroll equity operations using our in-house payroll system to process equity transactions and guarantee adherence with federal and state reporting requirements. You will use critical thinking, and your knowledge/experience of payroll, tax and equity to process and audit transactions of varying degrees of complexity; equity transactions involving multiple states, expats, repats and international permanent transfers. You will adhere to strict deadlines for daily stock operations and maybe required to work outside of normal business hours.
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?
You will report to the Equity Payroll Consultant and work closely with cross functional teams such as Payroll Ops, Tax, Compliance and Accounting, who impact the payroll equity process through collaboration and support the drive for improvement through business process reviews or technical solutions.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING?
* Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience in relevant field
* At least 3 years experience with multi-state payroll administration
* Must have a comprehensive understanding of 2 of the following 3 items:
* Federal and State tax withholding, Accounting, or Payroll best practices
* Proficiency with Microsoft office products and strong excel skills
* Proven verbal and written customer service skills critical, with an emphasis on soft skills
* Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
* Ability to lead multiple work streams with contending priorities
* Ability to successfully meet time-sensitive strategic objectives
* Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage your workload
* Great teammate with experience working in a collaborative work environment
* Experience using SAP-HR is preferred.
* Familiarity with Human Resources procedures and record keeping practices is preferred
* Experience working with an integrated payroll or human resources management system software application is preferred
