Position
The AWS Solution Provider BD Manager is an integral member of the Solution Provider Program focused on advocating and executing for the program in the designated segment/territory they are assigned. In this role, you will work directly with partners and Partner Development Managers (PDMs) to advocate for the program along with supporting recruiting efforts, drive custom Solution Provider contract negotiations, and drive enablement plans across various stakeholders to help Solution Providers grow their AWS business. As a subject matter expert for the program and experience gained in the region, you will drive feedback to the Operational Solution Provider team and product teams for the AWS products that support Solution Providers to drive improvements. This role requires the candidate to easily converse in a range of subjects such as sales, marketing, legal, and operational conversations, and be a great communicator to partners and internal teams to drive the growth and maintain the Solution Providers in the program.
Responsibilities
(Internal-Base: (1) Qualify partners, (2) pipeline management, (3) prep and pitch the program, (4) explain the process of applying/set expectations, (5) EBCs as the SME, (6) Drive business growth through enablement plans and working across groups (PPAs), and (7) translate from what is it to how to use it (from SP product team)
Work with partners, AWS sales and partner teams, and AWS headquarters to execute on the Solution Provider Program and new Solution Provider initiatives.
Qualify prospective Solution Providers, advocate for the program, and enable in region sales and partners teams to drive recruitment, revenue, and overall market adoption of the Solution Provider Program.
Execute on enablement plans for Solution Providers.
Drive custom Solution Provider contracts to completion
Set and manage revenue targets, and work with partner teams and Solution Providers to achieve/exceed goals
Drive feedback to the Solution Provider product team and AWS Products that support the Solution Provider Program.
Utilize salesforce.com and other internal Amazon systems to track key performance metrics

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree required
5+ year experience in channel programs, channel operations, business practices, sales and/or operations experience.
Experience in leading contract negotiations and/or working on custom deals
Demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations
Experience working in a fast paced, dynamic work environment
