In this role you will work with engagement and business operations leads to provide project status updates across a multitude of industry verticals. You will provide reporting on burn rates, risk, expense consumption and project health. You will drive mechanism improvements as directed by the AMER ProServe leadership and communicate project changes and key insights to internal stakeholders. Your analysis of data associated with project health will contribute to the development of our AMER strategy and drive impact against our Professional Services business objectives. You will recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis, including data integrity, analysis, validation, as well as documentation and assist with delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

Key responsibilities include:

Build a Project Governance mechanism; a system of checks and balances overseen by the Project Controller that inspects, identifies, and reports where there are gaps in project financial management
Collaborate effectively with a variety of internal teams each month including finance, business operations managers, practice managers, and engagement managers to follow up on time and expense submissions, and act as a subject matter expert around invoicing
Ensure that engagements are closed out in an appropriate timeframe, that Customer Satisfaction surveys are sent to the customer and feedback provided is followed up and actioned
Act as a trusted business advisor by supporting project managers with expense reporting, burn rates, churn, and detailed and accurate project status updates
Collaborate with engagement leaders, partner teams, and customer health teams to deliver successful customer outcomes
Provide monthly reporting on the trends, risks, and health of project financials
Assist the project manager with reporting accurate project status by looking for irregularities in resource and project schedules and partnering with resource management and business operations to correct anomalies
Conduct statistical and trend analysis to identify improvement opportunities, highlight strengths, and provide recommended corrective actions with regards to churn, project status and resourcing on engagements
Design and build visualization dashboards in SFDC, Excel, and other BI tools to accelerate information-to-action such as project health dashboard to identify red, amber and path to green projects
Contribute to the writing of narratives around project performance for internal audiences
Assist with tracking and measuring program effectiveness and organizational productivity
Collaborate with product management to influence and guide their development roadmaps for SFDC and Tableau
Provide business insights and actionable intelligence to Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs)

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years experience working in Professional Services organization or other consulting industry
Project Management or Project Coordination experience
Experience using Salesforce.com or comparable CRM
Experience using Professional Services Automation or equivalent (e.g. FinancialForce, OpenAir, ChangePoint), and extracting, analyzing, and summarizing data.
5+ years of Advanced Excel experience and the ability to conduct analysis of complex data and translate the results into actionable deliverables, messages, and presentations (Pivot Tables, Vlookups)
Experience preparing and delivering state of the business documents and presentations

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Proven experience optimizing processes for a professional services business
Advanced Excel skills (VBA & Macros, Power Query, Advanced Charting)
PMP Certification
Demonstrated experience proactively recognizing a challenge or problem and working with a variety of teams and data sources to diagnose the problem and recommend solutions
