We're looking for a passionate Communication Program Manager to join the Amazon Go Operations Team. As the Communications Program Manager, you will use a combination of analytical skills, business judgment, and critical thinking to innovate on behalf of our customers. You will be empowered to roll up your sleeves and help create and innovate on the Communication program, still in its early stages. The role requires a deep understanding of how to communicate in a dynamic retail environment and the ability to think big about how to make communication content engaging and easy to consume.

As the Communications Program Manager you will support the execution of our internal communications strategy. The ideal candidate earns trust through performance and relationship building, is disciplined in operations execution, has creative ideas for employee engagement and has an extreme level of attention to detail. The successful candidate should be passionate about connecting with an audience through a written medium and will need to develop a variety of communication systems, processes, and content. This individual will collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and has a proven work ethic that drives desired results.

Key Responsibilities
Draft and deliver effective communication to store teams to support positive customer and associate experience.
Use a third party task management system to effectively drive execution in store.
Develop and maintain store escalation processes, service level agreements and defect reporting.
Maintain Store Communications team calendar for upcoming communications and internal actions items.
Create, maintain, and integrate Operations content to a knowledge base (such as SOPs, user guides, etc.).
Monitor task completion, review store completion rates, follow up and remove barriers as needed.
Reusability and repeatability- track the quantity and quality of knowledge base entries, published articles, and reference guides. Drive maximum leverage by ensuring discoverability and utilization of reusable resources. Help supporting teams to package and publish repeatable resources.
Evaluate and continuously improve our communication system and mechanisms.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors degree or 3+ years of professional or military experience
3+ years of experience using Microsoft Excel
4+ years of professional experience in business planning, communications, change management, and/or program management
Experience collaborating across multiple teams, including technical teams and operations teams
Ability to conduct sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data and translate the results into actionable deliverables, messages and presentations
Highly organized, an extreme level of attention to detail
Experience with Microsoft Excel, and reporting tools
Strong written and verbal communications skills, with a track record of presenting to senior management
Exhibits sound business judgment, with proven ability to influence others, take ownership, lead data-driven analyses and influence results
A terrific work ethic accompanied by an ever-positive, get-it-done attitude
Bachelors degree required
