This role will act as a partner and liaison between the Data Center Planning and Delivery Finance teams and our business intelligence teams to ensure greater financial control and automation across our systems. This role provides a great opportunity to improve data analytics, tracking and reporting of all ongoing capital projects across various teams and develop improvements to data processing and consolidations through our back end systems.
Job Responsibilities include:
Identify and implement opportunities to resolve finance issues, improve, scale, or simplify finance tools, technology, and processes across teams and organizations
Liaison between systems, finance and business partners to document and translate requirements for automation and system improvements
Collaborate with stakeholders on resolution and design, test, and implement solutions
Lead individual projects from start to finish, including managing timelines, setting priorities, and resolving conflicts with little oversight
Train others on the correct operation of finance systems and controls and develop onboarding documentation for new team members
Manage competing priorities & provide level-headed guidance during unexpected events
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g. Engineering, Math, and Computer Science) or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of finance experience, or masters degree and 3 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
2+ years of experience performing financial and ad hoc analysis using data reporting tools
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
MBA or professional certification (CFA/CPA/CMA) + relevant experience
Experience working with Big Data
Advanced experience demonstrating problem solving and root cause analysis
Highly analytical, detail oriented and strong business sense
Ability to work independently and self-motivate in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload
Effective communication and presentation skills working with multiple peer groups and senior levels of management
Previous experience within a Manufacturing, Distribution Center or Logistics processes and systems a plus
Ability to travel; 10% travel expected, primarily to local operations
Required proficiency in Excel (macros, index, conditional list, arrays, pivots, lookups)
Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (i.e. SQL, Essbase and/or Cognos) and other financial systems (i.e. Oracle, SAP), providing solutions to senior management for strategic decision-making
