Position Summary

The Shipping and Receiving Operator is responsible for internal and external shipping of parts and equipment at the PCC Mentor and PCC Renaissance Parkway operation.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

* Load and unload outside vendor shipments.
* Prepare all proper documentation using internal computer lot control system
* Prepare final customer shipments including weighing, quantity verification, banding and loading on to common carrier trucks.
* Maintain good housekeeping with dock, storage areas and equipment use.
* Perform maintenance checklist on fork lift daily.
* Receive UPS, FEDX and other daily deliveries and deliver to the supply crib or other designated storage area.
* Support the Supply Crib, when needed.
* May perform other duties as specified by the supervisor.

Experience & Education

* A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and may be substituted by experience.
* A minimum of 1 year experience in a shipping & receiving environment.
* Fork Lift / Tow Motor certification is preferred.

* Ability to qualify and receiving certification on Fork Lift / Tow Motor per internal training standards.
