Job Title: Regional Customer Quality Manager
Position Focus: The primary function of the Regional Customer Quality Manager - is to work directly with the Plants, the Customers, and the necessary functional teams (i.e., Engineering, Program Management, etc.) to ensure facility compliance to all Lear and Customer specific procedures and requirements and provide lead on all Customer Launch activities with high focus on APQP/LPMP adherence.
Education: Bachelors degree in engineering or a technical field from an accredited institution
Experience: Minimum seven (7) years working in the Quality function within a manufacturing environment.
Position Specific Requirements:
Required:
* Customer Expert on all Internal/External and Customer Audits; ensures and validates readiness, compliance and read across to all applicable facilities.
* Customer Expert on all Internal/External APQP milestones and guidelines, ensures and validates readiness, compliance and read across to all applicable facilities.
* Ensures quality team functional participation in product development and launch activities (including program management system specific actions) which includes the identification of customer expectations, manufacturing and ongoing production test support.
* Lear compliance audit tracking, supporting action identification and monitor sustained compliance to requirements.
* Responsible for the communication and updates to the Division Quality Leadership team on all identified potential emerging issues identified by the assigned manufacturing facilities or customer through the identified format and within the defined notification timeline.
* Support and/or interface with Lear internal quality teams supporting the same customers in different regions globally.
* Responsible to monitor and verify the overall Quality performance and Customer Scorecard status, along with any and all actions to improve those items for any/all of their facilities.
* Facilitate communication between the customer and other Lear Internal/External suppliers, Program, Quality or Engineering teams.
* Assist when required to develop, train and grow the talent base at their assigned facilities.
* Has the authority and the responsibility to stop any process or product delivery in case of a non-conformance of customer expectations, safety or environmental risks.
* Monitor and Verify the effective implementation and Read Across of Customer Lessons Learned as well as Internal Improvement Projects across all applicable facilities.
Preferred:
* Language proficient in Customers business headquarters native language

* Confirm manufacturing facility compliance to Lear Quality Operating System requirements measured through the Lear Plant of the Future (LPOF) quarterly assessment, perform LPOF audits when required
* Competent in quality tools, and process/production control methods such as:
* Expert on customer specific requirements
* Working knowledge of Customer Quality related Business to Business systems
* Demonstrated strong leadership, team building and advanced coaching skills.
* Demonstrated ability to motivate people, assess and develop employee skills.

* Understanding Quality Systems, internal and external
* Able to communicate fluently in English (writing and speech)
