What you'll be doing...

We are looking for a strong software engineer to help us improve and extend our content management platform that underpins all the features on our On-premise to Online thus enabling customers see and understand their data. Content Management Platform will provide us with an opportunity to optimize performance in our Online offering. This project will also require collaboration with teams across the company on improving reliability and extending flexibility in the current platform. We are looking for passionate developers who want to push the boundaries and help us scale our content strategy. You will be working towards improving existing content management flows as well as enable customers organize and customize their data experience. In this role, you are passionate to about building extensible and reusable platforms that can power a variety of experiences. Our team is responsible to provide guidance to content providing services and define the interfaces to move data over the wire in a secure, performant and easy for the customer manner. You are proficient in designing and building distributed systems and have worked previously on data consistency using SAGAs. You will be working on a team of highly skilled and motivated engineers, building the next generation of delightful services.

You will work on Tableaus next-generation content management platform, building Java based backend services and integrating with deployment tools for on-premise and online. You will be part of a highly collaborative team full of talented professionals who are dedicated to help people see and understand their data.

Some of the things youll be doing include:
- Work on improving performance and scalability of user and content management platform

- Design and build robust, reliable and easily extensible platform that enables seamless of a variety of content and data to provide customers a dynamic destination for data.

- Opportunity to work with architectural bodies across the company to define next generation of services and their content migration strategy.

Who you are:

* Passionate about design and architecture while remaining customer focus and adhere to agile principles of incremental delivery of value to customers.

* Have solid experience with Docker and Kubernetes technologies.

* Experienced in building scalable distributed systems.

* Possess excellent communication and collaboration skills.

* Excellent development skills with Java and JavaScript.

* Fast learner. You will help us establish scalable, efficient, automated processes for large scale data analyses, model development, validation and implementation.

Highly Technical. You love writing things that just work things that are robust, scalable, and that perform well. You have a strong understanding of software architectures relevant to multi-tier client applications.

A True Team Player. You enjoy collaborating, learning from or teaching others so we can all become better developers. You assume good intent in others, and actively do your part to make a positive work environment.
