The Meadows Psychiatric Center is a 119-bed, behavioral health treatment hospital located in the beautiful Centre Hall, PA, just a short distance outside State College ,PA. The Meadows features individual units for children, adolescents, young adults, and older adults, and prides itself on providing comprehensive patient services. The Meadows team has a great Per Diem opportunity to join our team as a Clinical Teacher/Educator.

Clinical Teacher/Educator responsibilities include the provision of high quality instructional programs for children, adolescents and young adults. Clinical Teacher/Educators are part of our multidiscplinary patient care teams and will collaborate with unit patient care teams as well as liaison wiht schools as appropriate.

Qualifications

The position of Clinical Teacher/Educator requires a Bachelor Degree in Education or related field which is eligible for teacher certification in the State of Pennsylvania; Excellent overall interpersonal skils; Ability to communicate effectively in English both in verbal and written forms; ability to work with patients of varying ages; and genuine interest in working with behavioral health/psychiatric patients.
