The Veeva Administrator Clinical Application Specialist (CAS) for CTMS / ETMF is a key & vital BD associate within the Medical Affairs (MA) / Global Clinical Affairs (GCA) organization and works closely with other GCA associates and various other BD associates from the Business Units (including global Information Security (GIS) throughout the conduct of clinical studies.

Clinical Application Specialist (CAS) for CTMS / ETMF Responsibilities

Provides input into the design/development of CTMS / ETMF and other Clinical Application standards, policies, and procedures and adhere to established policies, procedures, and standards.
Works with GCA, Business Units and Regions to implement CTMS / ETMF best practice, standardization, utilization and optimization.
Provides timely and expert level support and troubleshooting of issues impacting CTMS / ETMF.
Contributes to solutions for routine technical problems and liaises with software vendors, hosting partners, IT and GIS as appropriate to resolve issues.
Maintains all required system and study level (as applicable) documentation. 
Ensures a comprehensive and well documented risk based approach is taken to system change control; validation documentation is compiled, archived and “audit ready” for all system upgrades, enhancements, patches, etc.
Performs user account management activities.
Actively works to promote end user adoption, acceptance and active user community dialogue.
Ability to effectively share knowledge and work cross-functionally.

Perform development, validation, execution, maintenance, documentation, and archival of clinical data targeted for regulatory submission.
Work within GCP/ICH regulations and guidelines.


Education and Experience

Minimum BA/BS from an accredited university
Minimum 1 years leading and performing Admin responsibilities of CTMS / ETMF either from sponsor or vendor perspective for Veeva Clinical Application.
Minimum 3 years working in a clinical research environment (preferred).

Work Environment / Travel

100% Remote: external candidates can work from home within the USA or Canada
10% Travel: To Franklin Lakes NJ (if working remotely) and/or conferences
