The Role

SAPs Global Procurement Organization is looking for a highly motivated Supplier Collaboration and Innovation Manager to enhance collaboration across all procurement categories with suppliers and leverage the potential to jointly drive innovations.

You will manage the business relationship with strategic suppliers and partners of SAP. Your role, in collaboration with our business stakeholders and GPOs Category Teams, is to create a sustainable competitive advantage for the business by leveraging spend and the expertise of our strategic suppliers to meet SAPs needs, reduce total cost, realize new value and mitigate risks

Role Requirements

We are looking for people with the ability to revisit and continuously improve GPOs supplier collaboration and innovation program and governance. As a role model and in close collaboration with Category Managers you will conduct regular business and performance reviews with strategic suppliers to monitor, measure, and analyze supplier performance, risk and governance and drive supplier development, delivery of value.

You should have several years experience in procurement and/or category management within a multinational business, designing, maintaining, and developing Supplier Relationship Management governance, ideally from a Service Technologies background. This experience will include the resolution of supplier issues. turning supplier performance initiatives into effective processes and helping maintain high service level or leverage savings potentials.

The Global Procurement Organization (GPO) is continuously transforming, in order to keep up with the fast-changing environment (new technologies with rapid innovation cycles, rising stakeholder expectations and regulations). GPO develops into an agile & strategic procurement organization. An optimal collaboration and partnership with all relevant stakeholders as part of the entire ecosystem will be imperative.
