Summary
The functional HR Lead will drive the overall success of the HR Application Roadmap Program for MPC HR, including resourcing, meeting program milestones, working with change readiness resources to ensure timely implementation, optimization, user acceptance of the Workday Ecosystem and facilitating cross functional updates.
Key Responsibilities
1. Work with project directors and MPC HR staff to lead strategic aspects of the HR systems project, including:
1. Serving as a member of the Program Leadership Team,
2. Establishing, building and maintaining relationships with MPC HR application vendors,
3. Developing an enterprise support model for shared applications,
4. Establishing and launching a governance structure and upgrade philosophy for shared ecosystem applications, and
5. Ensuring consistency of employee experiences across business units (except for defined and approved exceptions).
2. Partner with IT Program Manager to
1. Schedule internal and external resources,
2. Identify criteria to measure the success of the implementation of each module, and
3. Identify and develop contingency plans for critical processes.
3. Independently drive MPC project-related success by:
1. Ensuring HR resources achieve milestones within the master project plan,
2. Enhancing the employee experience,
3. Maximizing mobility for HR functionality,
4. Driving process optimization,
5. Standardizing HR processes where possible,
6. Ensuring end to end continuity of processes (via HRCs and HR Analysts),
7. Facilitating related change management,
8. Leading MPC communications and updates to the Programs Design Review Board, and
9. Documenting a business continuity plan for critical processes.
Experience and Education
* Bachelors degree in Business, Human Resources, Information Systems or related field
* 11+ years HR or systems/technology strategy development experience.
* 3 years experience developing, administering, and implementing workday required.
* This position may be required to travel up to 25% of the time in a quarter.
