Job Description

This position is located in Ridgefield, WA and plays an integral part in maintaining plant equipment, utilities and grounds to ensure safe and efficient plant operation through repair, fabrication and installation of new equipment while maintaining all Quality and Safety measures. 

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

Work with Maintenance Manager and/or Facility Manager to establish a program to eliminate downtime in trouble areas. 

Repair production equipment safely and as quickly as possible after a breakdown 

Work on assigned projects 

Fabricate and install new equipment 

Maintain machinery according to Preventative Maintenance Program 

Experience working with Pneumatics

Troubleshoot equipment 

Utilize safe work habits 

Wear appropriate PPE 

Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines and procedures 

Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines and procedures 

Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines and procedures 

Other duties as assigned 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS 

??High School diploma or equivalent 

?Background in fabrication, mechanical and electrical repair with use of shop tools 

?Forklift license? 

JOB REQUIREMENTS 

??Ability to work overtime and shift work as required 

?Standing up to 12 hours daily  

?Walking up to 12 hours daily  

?Bending/Stooping up to 12 hours daily  

?Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 12 hours daily  

?Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. regularly  

?Push/Pull up to 12 hours daily 

?Travel less than 10%?
