Electrical Assembly Lead (Starting Rate at $27 Per Hour)

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Install, configure and test proprietary software on computer systems
Build, set-up and test computer systems.
Build, Test, Trouble shoot electrical distribution boxes.
Build, test, and trouble shoot various electrical cable assemblies and wiring harnesses
Comply with company’s safety regulations and standards
Instruct and assist employees with job duties.
Work with Supervisor to ensure employees are actively working on projects.

Facility Specific Responsibilities:

Assist Supervisor with outside vendors who are working within the facility
Assist Supervisor with maintaining the safety requirements/calibration of shop equipment
In the absence of the Supervisor he/she will ensure the employees are properly allocated to jobs in order to meet budgeted hours and delivery schedule.

Qualifications/Requirements:

3-5 years experience in an electrical/electronic manufacturing environment
2-3 years experience as a group/team lead in a manufacturing environment (preferred/not required)
Associates Degree in Electrical/Electronics or equivalent Military experience preferred
Must be able to interpret electrical wiring diagrams and schematics
Must have knowledge of various windows operating systems to include but not limited to Win 10, Win XP
Ability to work in a team environment
Proven skills in soldering connectors or surface mounted component on a circuit board. Also be able to instruct personnel on proper soldering techniques.
Must be able to trouble shoot or test using different types of equipment such as digital multi meters, oscilloscopes, current meters, etc..
