Location: US:WI:MENOMONEE FALLS at our WOODLAND PRIME 200 facility.

*1.0 FTE is Full-Time any position less than 1.0 FTE is Part-Time and .001 FTE is Optional Part-Time*

*Positions with an FTE (full time equivalency) of .8 - 1.0 are eligible for full-time medical dental and vision benefits. Positions with an FTE of .5 - .799 are eligible for part-time pro-rated medical dental and vision benefits*

Shift: Shift 1

Work schedule: Monday-Friday 1pm-7pm. Hours can flex based on daily volumes.

Summary:
The Medical Transcriber edits technical medical data from recorded dictation maintains productive line counts and quality. Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:
One to three years of progressive transcription of Radiology Reports is required. Medical knowledge of the core aspects of medicine including medical terminology anatomy and physiology clinical medicine laboratory tests pharmacology surgery imaging techniques and pathology is required. High School diploma or equivalent is required. Completion of a medical transcription and medical transcription courses or comparable work experience is required. Certified Medical Transcriptionist (CMT) or Registered Medical Transcriptionist is preferred.

Other information:
Eligible to take the Certified Medical Transcription exam or Registered Medical Transcriptionist Exam and pass within 1 year of employment. High level of accuracy in reading writing proofreading editing spelling and punctuation. Typing ability of approximately 50 to 75 wpm. Knowledge of medical terminology and human anatomy. Experience with PowerScribe (or other voice recognition systems) EPIC and MS Word. This position will be worked remotely.
