Jacobs is seeking a Mid Frontend Developer in Alexandria, VA. Duties will include:

* Frontend Developer with experience building JavaScript-based web applications built onclient-side MVC frameworks like Ember.JS, Angular.JS, or React
* Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
* 7+ years of experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS
* Ability tocommunicate to both technical and non-technical audience
* Ability todeliver high quality code to realize business requirements
* Ability to perform peer reviews and writeautomated unit and integration tests
* Must have experience working on and managing prototypes and white paperdevelopment
Desired Requirements:
* Experiencein setting standards for front-end development (coding standards, testingstandards, REST integration standards, etc.)
* Experienceleading collaboration among multiple front-end teams
* Experienceconfiguring and deploying web applications in an Agile environment
* Experienceintegrating JavaScript build tools with CI pipelines, like Jenkins
* Ability toset direction for front-end architecture
* AWS Certification
* PMP certification
Essential Job Description Functions
Work Environment:
General Office environment.The work environment is fast-paced and sometimes involves extreme deadlinepressures. The nature of the work requires a high degree of teamwork andcooperation with other members of the staff as well as individuals across theCompany and Customers.
Physical Requirements:
Most work will be done at a desk or computer.
Equipment and Machines:
General office equipmentincluding PC/laptop, Fax, Copiers, Shredder, Printers, Telephone, and othermiscellaneous office equipment.
Attendance:
Attendance is critical at alltimes. Must be able to work a 40-hour workweek, normally Monday throughFriday. However, times and days may vary depending on businessrequirements. Needs to be available to work overtime during critical peaks andbe available to meet last minute requests for overtime should the situationoccur.
Other Essential Functions:
Must be able to communicateeffectively both verbally and in writing
Grooming and dress must beappropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to theemployee or others. Must put forward a professional behavior that enhancesproductivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation.
Mustbe able to interface with individuals at all levels of the organization bothverbally and in writing. Must be well-organized with the ability to coordinateand prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously. Must work well underpressure to meet deadline requirements. Must be willing to travel as needed.Must take and pass a drug test and background check as well as a motor vehiclerecords check.
