Position Summary:

This position supports the mission of The Medical Center of Aurora/Centennial Medical Plaza of optimizing the quality of life of all those served by expanding beyond the traditional focus on medical needs to the needs of the whole person. The unit secretary serves as the receptionist of the unit, assists in the coordination of daily unit operations and performs clerical and supply duties. When need arises, will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

1. Licensure/Certification/Registration: None required.

2. Education: Prefer secretarial/business college training.

3. Experience: Two years general office experience, preferably in medical setting requiring public contact.

4. Special Qualifications: Must be able to type 40-50 wpm. Must demonstrate good customer service skills and communication skills. Basic medical terminology required. Basic keyboard and computer skills.
