Convey thought leadership and expertise in the sports and entertainment space to deliver best-in-class sponsorship and experiential marketing for Truist. Manage specific sports and entertainment sponsorship properties and associated activations to drive excellence and deliver on strategic objectives for Truist.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1. Develop and implement plans to execute business and enterprise marketing strategies and plans.
2. Work with Client Marketing Management, Centers of Excellence, and business leaders and managers, to deliver marketing programs to clients and prospects in local business markets and across the enterprise.
3. Manage multiple sponsorship property relationships with responsibilities including but not limited to fulfillment of all contractual assets, budget management, execution of strategic marketing programs to deliver on company goals and objectives, measurement and reporting on performance, etc.
4. Identify, research, analyze, recommend sponsorship opportunities (e.g., sports and entertainment properties, nonprofit organizations, goodwill, CRA, events, media programs) to management.
5. Lead complex and visible projects with notable risk and complexity. Make decisions within established policies, procedures, and established objectives.
6. Identify and resolve technical, operational, risk management, business, and organizational challenges.
7. Develop and execute marketing programs to support the advancement of Truists purpose including but not limited to programs that enhance teammate and client experience and promote community engagement and volunteerism.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent education and related training
2. Five years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
3. In-depth knowledge and expertise of principles, practices, theories, and/or methodologies associated with the Marketing discipline (e.g., Marketing Ps, Market research, analytics, digital)
4. Experience managing or leading projects or project work streams and operates as a lead in a specialty capacity
5. Knowledge of the industry's competitive landscape and the factors that differentiate Truist and its competitors in the market
6. Ability to interpret and explain complex information to a range of audiences and build consensus among different stakeholders
7. Ability to provide direction, coaching and mentor experienced teammates
8. Fluent in Excel and PowerPoint, preparing presentations for senior level teammate

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Masters degree or MBA and six years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
2. Banking or financial services experience
