As our Raw Materials Procurement Manager, you will procure raw materials that are consumed in production of finished goods by Celanese Corporation.

Responsibilities:

Key Activities and Accountabilities:

* Identify and extract productivity from raw material suppliers by executing a pipeline approach that is realized when preferred commercial terms are negotiated with Celaneses supplier
* Create and execute raw material procurement strategies that align with the overarching strategy of the business
* Consults the business team on raw material market activity and identifies ways for Celanese to leverage industry events for preferred outcomes
* Adheres to events within the monthly business cycle (e.g. raw material forecast)
* Partners with Procurement Operations to assure that Celaneses plants are properly stocked with raw material inventory

Key Outputs and KPIs:

* Safety and stewardship
* Annual productivity achievement (earnings and working capital)
* Forecast accuracy
* Build and maintain an active productivity project pipeline
* Influence raw material suppliers to comply with Celaneses stated quality objectives
* Business / Procurement raw materials is a partnering function to the P&L organization
* Quality / Embrace and adopt measures for supplier quality as required by Celaneses quality team
* Legal / Partners with procurement to execute supply contracts and defend Celanese in times of conflict
* Procurement Operations / Assures that suppliers adhere to commercial commitments made to Celanese
* Supply chain planning / Collaborates for the sake of alignment in regard to raw material demand

Qualifications:

* Completed Bachelor's Degree
* 8+ years of prior procurement experience
* Experience with negotiating contracts
* Petrochemical industry experience preferred
* Experience with SAP is a plus
