CVS Health, now one of the top companies in the United States, is seeking a Senior Manager of Communications to help position our emerging CVS Kidney Care line of business as an innovative leader in improving quality of care for patients with kidney disease.

Working with the Senior Director of CVS Caremark Communications, the Senior Manager will help establish and execute a corporate communications strategy targeting both internal and external audiences to advance the Kidney Care business. Primary areas of focus will include building and elevating a thought leadership profile for the Kidney Care leadership team; advising the business on public relations strategies to advance critical milestones in the clinical trial and regulatory approval process; helping to protect the businesss reputation by identifying and preparing issues/crisis management approaches; and establishing a steady cadence of internal communications to inform, motivate and inspire colleagues. You will align to key business leaders within CVS Kidney Care to understand both opportunities and challenges in their growth strategy, and serve as a thought partner in advancing a start-up line of business within an over-arching enterprise framework.

Your ability to partner with colleagues in the Kidney Care business and marketing team, along with allied functions including Government Affairs, Human Resources and Centers of Excellence in Corporate Communications, is critical to success in this position. You will utilize your experience with critical thinking across multiple disciplines to provide guidance and ensure strong execution of plans.

You will be a key member of the Enterprise Communications team and will be expected to work collaboratively with colleagues focused on multiple lines of business, as well as corporate centers of excellence.

This position can be based in New York, NY; Woonsocket, RI; Northbrook, IL; or Scottsdale, AZ.

Required Qualifications
7 years Communications experience
Up to 10% travel potential

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in product commercialization and launch Communications in the pharmaceutical and/or medical device industry and/or Renal/Kidney Care industry
Bachelors degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, English, Business

Education
Bachelors degree is required.
