Job Description
Summary
The Weekend Shift Inbound Department is responsible for receiving product on pallets into the building once trucks are unloaded. Each pallet is given an LPN (license plate number) barcode label. Product is then counted and identified. Once pallets are complete and product is verified, the product is put away into random storage locations or pickfaces.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Associates must be able to:
* Use High Reach to put away pallets from receiving dock to pickfaces and storage locations
* Read and understand location sequencing
* Use material handling equipment to pick pallets for shipping and replenishing pickfaces
* Perform wave full pallet picking functions and replenishing of pickfaces
* Problem solve and accurately count all types of items
* Safely unload pallets from trucks
* Stage pallets within appropriate lanes
* Notify Team Leads of any exceptions
* Use material handling equipment, once trained, to transfer product to appropriate random storage or pickface location
* Identify and apply LPNs to corresponding pallets
* Count product to ensure accurate delivery and reception of order
Basic Qualifications
* High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required
* Minimum 6 months of warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing experience
* Minimum 3 months of High Reach forklift experience
* Experience with inventory and warehouse software, databases, and systems preferred
* Good organizational and time management skills
* Must be able to lift 35 pounds
