This position is for a professional individual contributor in Account Management. He or she will focus on building strong customer relationships to maintain customer retention and provide best of class customer experience. Works and interacts with customers via phone calls or in writing. Spends time when needed, consulting customers on the product that is being supported. Conducts additional research if needed by utilizing all reference material necessary to provide an informed response to the customer. At times works with other internal and external business contacts help resolve customer issues, improve customer experience, or coverage offering.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provides proactive day-to-day client service by anticipating client needs and responding to client questions and issues in a timely manner
* Gathers information from client related to risk management/commercial needs and evaluate the best way to manage the client's risk
* Review with the client loss experience and current coverage. Recommends appropriate products and services
* Creates and presents renewal proposals to existing clients. Conducts review via telephone on annual basis or as appropriate to identify opportunities to cross sell other lines of coverage
* Responsible for growth of assigned book of business as well as client retention goals
* Ensures that all regulatory, compliance and transparency requirements are met and complies with all internal policies and procedures
* Other duties as assigned
Requirements
* High school diploma or GED is required, college degree preferred
* 2+ years client and customer service experience required
* Previous account management experience, preferred
* Prior insurance experience a plus
* P & C licensed a plus OR able and willing to obtain within 30 days of hire
* Microsoft Office suite proficiency to include use of Outlook, Word and expertise in Excel
* Ability to work an 8 hour shift within the hours of operation; 7 am 5:30, 7 days a week
