Support the operation of high-speed manufacturing production equipment in processing and packaging to produce Milk-Bone product for the company. This position will have a primary focus on 2nd or 3rd shift. Availability will need to be on all 3 shifts (1st shift: 7:00am - 3:00pm 2nd shift: 3:00pm-11:00pm, 3rd shift: 11:00pm-7:00am) from time to time. The Maintenance Team Leader is responsible for the coordination, execution and auditing needed to achieve results in quality, cost, delivery, safety and sanitation for a high speed manufacturing operation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Position is 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) or 3rd shift (11pm-7am).
* Must have availability to work overtime, weekends and holidays.
* Under the direction of Shift Area Leader, this position is responsible for supporting production to ensure continual operation of the Bakery.
* Follow all company Safety Rules and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).
* Produce high quality products in a safe and healthful manner.
* Work in all areas of processing and packaging, as assigned, which includes being in close proximity to and crossing platforms over machinery. Cross-training will occur throughout the facility in all aspects of high-speed manufacturing.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
* Assist fellow employees as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS

* Experience in a high-speed manufacturing or technical environment required.
* Must have at least 3 years manufacturing experience in a Team Leader/Supervisory role or related Team Leader/Supervisory experience.
* A working knowledge of manufacturing operating systems
* Excellent computer skills.
* Effective time management skills.
* Previous work in a unionized manufacturing facility strongly preferred.
* Knowledge of NEC, OSHA, electronic test equipment, single and three phase electrical systems and wiring procedures to 600V required.
* Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics and parts specifications.
* Knowledge of PLCs (Modicon and Allen Bradley) and VFDs in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
* Knowledge of mechanical electrical systems and components in a high speed manufacturing environment.
* Knowledge of HMIs is preferred.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelors or an Associates Degree with 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment required, food manufacturing preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, GMP's and general instructions. Good communication skills are required.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out both oral and written instructions.
