ROLE LOCATION: As a global team, we aim to have associates be able to work from anywhere. However, there may be some situations where relocation will be required. Position Overview:
The successful candidate will lead and mentor a small team focused on creating key technologies that power our future beverage delivery innovations. These will span hardware and software innovations, including our Freestyle branded beverage dispensers, as we look to refresh the world in a minimum-waste manner. This team of innovators will partner with others across the business to understand the highest value capabilities needed, to establish high-likelihood technical approaches, to rapidly establish feasibility of these approaches and then to de-risk these technologies until they are ready for commercialization.

Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities:

* You will create the capabilities that power our next generations of package-less beverage solutions, including both dispensed beverages and revolutionary product offerings.
* You will participate in business strategy discussions about where the business future is, and then you will develop the technical strategy to ensure the capabilities we will need are available.
* You will lead a small team of innovators who will serve on your team for 12-24 months before rotating back into the mainstream engineering team.
* You will collaborate closely with software, digital, and teams to prototype and develop integrated innovations.
* You will share both successes and failures/lessons learned as we develop both our technology and our talent.
* You will work across boundaries to support innovation across the Package-less organization.
* You will create roadmaps and craft executive-level narratives to explain the capabilities you are building and the value they create.
* You will create the technologies that power the Coca-Cola Company of tomorrow.

Education Requirements:

* Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, Software, or Aerospace Engineering from ABET-accredited program (or equivalent credentials from non-US institution).
* MS in these disciplines preferred.

Functional Skills:

* Demonstrated integrator of disparate technologies (EE, Fluid Handling, Software) into cohesive innovations.
* Expert-level knowledge and demonstrated success leading teams to deliver innovations.
* History of teaching and developing junior talent.
* Expert level knowledge of design tools and methodologies (DFMEA, DVP&R, Agile).
* Ability to show disparate stakeholders, including non-technical stakeholders, the value of the technologies developed.
