Job Summary

Note: This position can be based out of any Dominion Energy work location.

This position coordinates field services and transportation for hazardous and non-hazardous waste. The successful candidate must have some related experience with RCRA or DOT regulations and programs.

Other related job responsibilities include:
* Coordinates and ensures company programs and projects are in compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations including any specific areas of concern.
* Promotes corporate environmental policy, by educating and assisting employees to seek innovative ways to ensure operational environmental compliance.
* Assess, and provide advice on operations, construction, procedures, records, and training.
* Ensures compliance with environmental requirements prescribed by laws, regulations, company policies, and company procedures.
* Provides regulatory interpretations for new and existing environmental regulations.
* Uses electronic databases to analyze and monitor company compliance with regulatory requirements.

Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

The company is actively seeking United States military veterans and service members who meet the qualifications outlined below.

* Military service members and veterans with ranks from E3-E5, W1-W2, or O1-O3, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined below.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

3-4 years relevant experience. (Note: A Master's degree will count as one year of experience. A partial year of experience of six months or more will be rounded up to one year).

Successful candidate must have some related experience working with RCRA and/or DOT regulations. (i.e. interpreting RCRA and DOT regulations or related experience).

Other related knowledge, skills, abilities and experience include:
* Good working knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations specific to the work location.
* Good working knowledge of environmental operating permits and regulations specific to the work site, if responsible for contracted assets.
* Logic and reasoning skills, to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternatives, conclusions, or approaches.
* Respectful assertiveness, to ensure environmental compliance requirements are met by others, while considering the spirit and letter of the law.
