Required Qualifications:
* High school diploma or GED
* 5+ years low/voltage electric & mechanical industry experience
* Valid state drivers license without restrictions
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working in Correctional facilities or similar environments.
* General Knowledge of CCTV, access control, computers, networking, basic audio and other low voltage applications.
* Hardware and software experience with industrial intercom systems, IP and analog video systems, PLCs, serial and Wiegand card readers, and managed network switches.
* Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to interact professionally with customers.
* Ability to work independently on customer sites.
* Ability to meet deadlines, organized, with time management skills.
* Experience in electronic data storage, email, word, and excel.
Position Responsibilities:
* Perform service as required to integrated automation systems including PLCs, CCTV, intercom, access control, computers systems, networks, and HMI controls. This includes the ability to troubleshoot a wide variety of electrical, and mechanical products.
* Provide customer education during site visits to customer locations.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment using the correct tools properly.
* Direct customer communication with regards to scheduling and repair status.
* Strict adherence to company policies and procedures set forth by the company.
* Complete expense and other record keeping as set forth by the company.
* Maintain accurate company vehicle parts inventory.
* Ensure field changes are updated properly within company database.
* Assist with Installation Projects as needed.
* 100% of time is field related, Up to 80% percent travel.
* Other duties as assigned by your manager.
